ok. i found i the last villanelle i composed was wrong so here's a new one. well it actually originated from years back. last time my friends came up with this rhyme to irritate me. never thought i'd actually thank them. heh. but anyways, here it is. oh yeah, i had some help from peeps of 2t! ^_^

The Tale of Gayle the Whale
This is the story of Gayle the Whale,
who always failed.
Her destiny was to be jailed.

Oh, Gayle the whale,
she got stuck in a pail!
This is the story of Gayle the whale.

One day while driving to a sale,
her car was struck by hail.
Her destiny was to be jailed.

While swimming one day she broke her tail
and started to wail.
This is the story of Gayle the whale.

Once, she drank way too much ale.
In druken stupor she ate up a ship's sail!
Her destiny was to be jailed.

By accident she swallowed a quail
And for that she was sent to jail.
This is the story of Gayle the whale.
